These terms govern your use of Docula's public tools, account features, extracted content, and AI-generated outputs.
Using Docula
Docula provides study and document tools for text extraction, OCR, transcript workflows, notes, flashcards, quizzes, citations, and study planning. You may use public tools without an account and may create an account for access to available account features. You are responsible for following these terms and all applicable laws.
Your content and permissions
You are responsible for any text, file, image, transcript, URL, or source information you submit. You must own the content or have the rights and permission needed to process it. Do not submit unlawful, infringing, confidential, restricted, or sensitive personal material.
AI and automated outputs
AI-generated and automatically extracted outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, misleading, or poorly formatted. You must review notes, flashcards, quiz questions, study plans, citations, OCR text, transcript text, and other outputs before relying on or sharing them.
Academic integrity
Docula is intended to support learning and productivity, not plagiarism, cheating, impersonation, or other academic misconduct. You are responsible for following the rules of your school, course, employer, or professional organization and for accurately representing your own work.
Prohibited use
You may not use Docula for illegal activity, harassment, fraud, security attacks, unauthorized access, automated abuse, service disruption, attempts to bypass limits, or any activity that harms Docula, its providers, or other users. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect the service.
Accounts and availability
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your sign-in method and activity associated with your account. Signed-in users may save supported generated text outputs to the dashboard and delete them later. Docula may change, suspend, limit, or discontinue tools, saved-output limits, or account features.
No warranty
Docula is provided as-is and as-available. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose, or that generated and extracted outputs will be accurate or complete.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Docula and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar losses arising from your use of the service or reliance on its outputs. You remain responsible for reviewing content and deciding how to use it.
