Security philosophy

Docula is designed to handle study and document workflows with practical security expectations. The product avoids unsupported security claims and explains limitations plainly.

HTTPS and hosting

Docula is served over HTTPS in production. Hosting and infrastructure providers help deliver the application, route requests, and protect transport security.

Authentication

Docula uses Clerk for authentication. Users may sign in with email/password or Google where enabled. Account security also depends on users protecting their own email accounts, passwords, and devices.

Document handling

Uploaded files and submitted text are processed to provide requested tool outputs. Users should not upload sensitive personal, medical, legal, financial, confidential, or restricted documents unless they are authorized and comfortable using them in an online tool.

Data protection roadmap

Docula may continue improving security through clearer controls, better monitoring, safer file handling, and more transparent user settings. No security certification is claimed unless it is explicitly listed.

Responsible disclosure

Security concerns can be sent to support@docula.net. Please avoid sending sensitive documents or exploit details beyond what is necessary to understand the concern.
