Responsible AI

Docula's responsible AI position is simple: AI assists, humans decide, and important outputs must be reviewed.

AI assists

Docula uses AI to help organize, summarize, question, and transform source material. AI is useful for creating starting points, but it should not replace human judgment.

Humans decide

Users remain responsible for deciding whether outputs are accurate, appropriate, ethical, and useful. Important outputs should be checked against source material or qualified guidance.

Learning responsibility

Docula supports learning through notes, flashcards, quizzes, study plans, and Study Sessions. Users should follow academic integrity rules and avoid using AI to misrepresent their own work.

Career responsibility

Resume and career tools should help users express real experience more clearly. Users should not invent skills, employers, metrics, credentials, or accomplishments.

Professional review

Business, contract, invoice, financial, legal, medical, tax, and professional outputs should be treated as review aids only. Important decisions require qualified professional judgment.

Bias and limitations

AI systems can reflect incomplete context, biased training patterns, or incorrect assumptions. Docula aims to communicate limits clearly and encourages users to verify important outputs.
